Error: ORA-01176: data dictionary has more than the string files allowed by the controlfie

Causa: After a CREATE CONTROLFILE, the data dictionary was found to have more datafiles than that supported by the control file.

Acción: Re-create the control file with a larger value for MAXDATAFILES.
